COCOBOLO is extremely difficult to come by at this point. It was so popular for so many years, and used so often that it was placed on the endangered species list. The wood that is available at this point has been sitting on factory shelves for years (prior to the ban); or comes from trees being knocked down during storms. It is no longer lawful to cut it down for commercial reasons, so stock in COCOBOLO is always limited.
